The company’s medical director Dr. Akiva Daum completed his Bachelor of Science in microbiology and molecular biology in the University of Central Florida. He got his medical degree from the University of South Florida, College of Medicine. He perseveres to complete his position in general psychiatry and addiction fellowship through Boston University School of Medicine.

Aside from being the Medical Director of Serenity Oaks Wellness Center, he also serves as a psychiatrist in Kimmel Psychology. He uses his knowledge and skills to help patients improve their lives. He works with patients who are suffering from mental health condition with the use of innovative and evidence-based techniques. He believes that everyone deserves to live a happy and healthy life, so he passionately performs his work to help his patients.

The Medical Director’s special interests involve program development and methods of enhancing access for patient treatment with current mental health condition and substance use disorders. He implements a shared medical appointments model to treat the patients reliably and professionally. Aside from his clinical experience, he also has knowledge and experience in clinical supervision of nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, medical students, therapists, and more.

Dr. Lisa Cordero, the company’s Clinical Director also contributes success for the company. She started her career in the field when she worked as a child care worker in the facility known as Parmadale which housed at-risk youth. There, she develops her passion for helping individuals with substance abuse issues and mental health illness. She wants to help people with a better future life. She received her BA in psychology and continues to attain her Master’s Degree in Psychology.

Her passion helped her to pursue her Masters in Science. She also followed it with a doctorate in psychology major in forensic psychology and clinical psychology. She is also a qualified supervisor that trains people with passion and career aspirations.

Both Akiva M Daum and Dr. Lisa Cordero aim to help their patient attain the best service that they deserve.
