North Carolina & Massachusetts – Eleanor Health, the first addiction and mental health services provider designed to deliver whole-person, long-term patient recovery outcomes in a value-based model, was featured on the Last Day Podcast this week.  The podcast can be listened to online at this link.

Episode 23, entitled Recovery For Life was an hour long discussion with the entire Eleanor Health team.  Co-Founder and CEO Corbin Petro and Dr. Nzinga Harrison, Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder, discussed the unique and cutting-edge approach Eleanor takes to achieve recovery for life.  Additionally, Eleanor Health staff from High Point, NC joined the discussion to give first hand accounts of the unique approach at Eleanor Health.

During the show, community members from High Point, NC were interviewed about Eleanor Health and their first-hand experience with how Eleanor Health treats recovery and addiction.

During the podcast, Cindy Everhart, an Eleanor Health Community Member at the High Point, NC clinic said, “When I walked in here, and they were so nice to me and the people I talked to, I just got more comfortable and more comfortable. When I left I said to my mom, I don’t even know if this is real.” I keep being surprised at how I do feel because I didn’t expect to feel as good as I do.  And I do feel pretty good, and I know it’s because I’m here, and I have them … so what they have said to me and  the way they’ve treated me, it goes with me when I leave, and I didnt expect that.”

“Every day I swear I thank god that they’re here and afraid that they’re gonna poof disappear and I’m so new and that I’m not strong enough yet,” added Everhart.
